Panthera Petroleum is a newly formed international oil & gas exploration and production company focused on (i) the development of undeveloped oil & gas fields, and (ii) the redevelopment of mature assets.
The company is currently building a diversified portfolio of assets through acquisitions and partnerships.
The company is led by an experienced management team in Africa and Middle East with the best track record in West Africa and Kurdistan over the last 15 years. Management comes from companies (Addax Petroleum, Perenco, Lundin, Aiteo) owned by individuals where each investment had to bring real and tangible value to the shareholders.

Panthera Petroleum aims to build a global portfolio of producing oil & gas assets, establishing itself as an operating partner of choice for host countries and other oil and gas companies.
Panthera Petroleum will seek to acquire assets where it can add value through development of proven reserves, extension of economic life, and improvement of operations.

DIFFERENTIATOR
We applied renown technologies and development strategies (deployed at Perenco, Addax Petroleum, Aiteo, Lundin) to juridictions where these companies (or their spin-offs like Assala, Trident,...) are not operating. It includes Nigeria and Angola where potential is still large: these 2 countries only in West Africa have more than 90% of existing production and investment opportunities. With indigenous companies strengthening over time, there is still a window of opportunity to bring a new international player to support these existing local players, especially as the main successes were made of international partnerships (Seplat-Maurel, Mart-Midwestern, First E&P-Schlumberger, Oriental-Afren, Crestar-Eland...).
